Dear Friends,
At a regular meeting of the Switzerland of Ohio
Polled Hereford Association the board of directors voted
unanimously to start an annual scholarship that would go to a
well deserving young man or woman beginning in the fall of 2006.
The SOPHA is a small, but active organization, so we are asking
for your financial support. Monies received will be placed in a
separate account and only the interest earned will be used to
support this project each year. A display board will be
exhibited at each SOPHA activity recognizing those who make
contributions. The board will be divided into sections based on
the amount of the donors contribution. They will be as follows:
Gold- $500 or more
Silver- $250 to $499
Bronze- $50 to $249
All donors names will be inscribed on a metal plate and placed
in the proper section on the board. Any donations will be
greatly appreciated. If you wish to make a contribution in
memory of a loved one, your name and the name of the loved one
will both be inscribed on the plate.
Should you have any questions, or if you would like to make a
donation, please contact Rick Van Fleet at 1(740)732-4783. Thank
you for your support of this worthwhile project which will aid
several young men and women in fulfilling their dreams of
attaining a college education.
Sincerely,
Ralph Ullman (President)
